About Me

James’ passion for coaching and empowering athletes to achieve their highest potential, brought him to pursue coaching as a career.

After leaving the UK in 2016 to travel and transition from electrician to coach, James spent many years developing in different gyms/ boxes across the globe. He has been lucky to have trained under and learned from many experienced coaches in the CrossFit, weightlifting, and gymnastics space. He attended various seminars to further his knowledge and is continually developing his coaching skills.

James has worked with hundreds of athletes in the CrossFit space, from complete beginners to intermediate competition level—coaching 1000s of hrs of group classes and coaching many athletes to various CrossFit competitions.

James has also led and been Running an Olympic weightlifting class for the last few years taking athletes from beginner to their first competition and as far as Canadian provincial level.

Now focusing more on working with individuals via personal training and remote coaching, helping them achieve their highest level and more specific training goals.

James has helped and trained 100s athletes of all skill/experience levels and is keen to help more!

Outside of coaching, James enjoys his training, spending time with his Golden Retriever Frank, a good coffee and personal development. He loves socializing with friends and getting into the mountains for a good hike, dog walk or snowboard ride depending on the time of the year.
